An evening with the Spirit of Japanese Zen through the magic of the Shakuhachi and Zazen sitting.
Saturday, February 7th, 7-8:30pm
On this evening we will hear music from the Traditional Zen repertoire plus some modern and improvised pieces, we will learn the technique of sitting in Zazen, the technique of Kinhin (or walking meditation), and we will have a talk and discussion about Buddhist ideas and principles that can be easily integrated into our daily practice and lifestyle.
Pepe has studied and practiced Buddhism in India, Nepal, Japan and USA. He has studied and played the Shakuhachi flute for almost forty years, having lived in Japan for three years just studying music and Buddhism.
