In simply giving purposeful attention to posture, breathing and vision, we can all create more potential for dynamic balance, energized calm and expansive focus in our lives.
Do you wish you weren't restricted by the usual 60-, 75- and 90-minute yoga class formats, where you're never quite sure who or what you're gonna get?
At the core of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is "Assisted Self-Practice", which empowers you to become your own teacher right from the start. Each step of the practice is learned slowly, by-heart, so you can set your own pace each day and honour the needs of the moment.
A 20-year student and 15-year teacher of yoga, Geoff Mackenzie of Mysore BC will guide you through a fundamental series of techniques, leading you toward an independent, self-guided approach to yoga practice.
No previous experience is required.
All levels of practitioner are welcome to attend.
Capacity is strictly limited to ensure individual attention.
