The human journey arises out of the mysterious depths of our bodies. In their fullest extent, these depths include not only the ‘personal bodies’ with which we are all familiar, but the ‘greater body’ of the earth as well. To fully understand this fact is to realize full embodiment – which is is both the path and the goal of the spiritual enterprise.
This all-level workshop will use the practice of ‘Meditating with the Body’ to explore this truth in an experiential way. Mixing guided meditation and group discussion, we will touch the inherent groundedness of our being and find ourselves able to engage our lives more wholly than ever before.
Participants are advised to wear warm, comfortable clothing, and to bring a blanket and mat to lay on. Should participants have a meditation cushion or bench, these are recommended – otherwise, chairs will be available.
When: Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 14th from 9:30am until 4:30pm.
Cost: $60 for day, $100 for the weekend
